Vice President, Sales

James Kavalec joined Cleveland Thermal in April, 2011 and provides leadership in business development, focusing on senior client relationship management and retention, as Cleveland Thermal’s vice president, sales.

Kavalec has more than 20 years of sales, sales management and business experience in a diverse spectrum of business ventures. From 1995 through 1997, he worked for a business division of GE Capital. He left GE Capital with a group of his co-workers to help form United Asset Coverage, which was purchased by Spectrum Equity in 2004. Prior to joining Cleveland Thermal, Kavalec served as president of Granite Development, a residential development and home building firm.

Kavalec is a member of the St. John Bosco finance committee and coaches youth athletics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from John Carroll University.
