GroceriesCleveland Thermal, LLC, Downtown Cleveland’s leading district energy provider, continues its commitment to Cleveland by actively participating in campaigns for Harvest for Hunger and the United Way.

The company will once again participate in the 2010 Harvest for Hunger campaign. Last year, Cleveland Thermal and eight of its customers partnered to collect 2,100 pounds of food, or more than 5,300 meals. For 2010, the company hopes to partner with more customers and collect 2,500 pounds of food, which will be donated to the Cleveland Foodbank.

Results are now in for Cleveland Thermal’s 2009 United Way campaign. The 2009 campaign surpassed the company’s goal and was an increase of more than 77 percent over the money raised in 2008.

“We are a Cleveland company that believes in Cleveland,” said Marc Divis, president, Cleveland Thermal, LLC. “We are happy to do our part in helping those in need throughout the city. Giving back is inherent to the Cleveland Thermal psyche.”
